pacman -S sharutils
If you don't have net access on that machine, download it from ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/extra/os/i686/s … pkg.tar.gz

Read the wiki wireless page, and search the forum for other madwifi threads.

Not sure if anyone reads the news, or checks the announcements, but uncomment [unstable] at the end of your pacman.conf so it doesnt ovveride everything and pacman -S madwifi-ng or pacman -S madwifi-ng-archck if you use archck.
