Hi,
I just upgraded konsole (:: Replace kdebase-konsole with extra/konsole? [Y/n] ) so it's konsole 2.14.2 -> 3.0.1, and there is many display problems. For example, fonts are not monospaced, the cursor is not aligned with the text, when I execute "ls", files name are incomplete and some filename are over other filename, etc.
I already have ttf-dejavu and ttf-liberation installed.
Do you have any idea on how this append and how to fix this ?

I had a hope for a second Sadly, even after rebooting, it doesn't fix it.

I fixed the problem.
I went to Settings -> Edit Current Profile -> Appearance and I changed the font. Then I went back to the original font, which was "Monospace".

maybe it's the same bug here :
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=192707
I discover this problem today with the upgrade of the package konsolepart4
your fix ( change twice the font to "monospace" ) solves the problem, but I notice always some lags in Konsole

After upgrade to the Qt5-based version, konsole always runs with a different KDE/Qt visual style than any other application.
I use Oxygen with a dark color scheme and it works in all Qt4 and Qt5 apps except konsole, which displays some other style, it's white and looks different than Oxygen. I tried the command line switches that force a particular style but to no avail.
Any ideas?

I knew about this thread. What makes you think it's the same problem? In this thread, apparently visual style (oxygen) is OK, fonts are wrong. My fonts are allright, but Oxygen doesn't work with konsole.

Well, there are also a few threads about that too.

Pray tell!
EDIT:
I did solve my problem by following the tip about symlinking configuration on the wiki here:

(I was surprised it's not been mentioned in this thread hence this edit.)

Or change font to Oxygen Mono. It helped me.

Thank you for your relevant contribution, but be careful of (almost) year old threads.
Thanks.
