nVidia v346.47 update fails with unmet dependencies .....
"nvidia requires nvidia-utils 346.35"
Is there a workaround or do I wait for a fix ?
TIA for any advice :-)

This seems to happen once in awhile with nvidia. You have to wait, but see this recent thread here about the same issue for ways to upgrade otherwise (ignore nvidia, update pkgbuild yourself, etc.)

For some reason the upgrade to nvidia 346.47 failed on both my wife's and my PCs. We weren't able to load GDM and were stuck on the systemd boot status screen.
# I made sure to reinstall GDM and nVidia
sudo pacman -S gdm nvidia nvidia-utils nvidia-libgl lib32-nvidia-utils lib32-nvidia-libgl
# Rebuild Init CP IO
mkinitcpio -p linux
# Rebuild GRUB
sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
For some reason this fixed both of our Arches, I think perhaps the kernel module for nVidia might have needed to be rebuilt on the 346.47 version and that may have been missing from the upgrade package.

Hi ElectricPrism,
This is unrelated to the problem that this thread is about. Which, as it happens, is fixed. Toppy, you should mark this thread as solved.
But, I think your problem IS related to the problem discussed here.
You should reply to that thread and see if your solution can help there.
edit: I posted a link to here in that thread
