Apple MacbookPro 2013 - Touchpad only works in GDM

I've had Arch linux +Gnome Shell running on my Macbook Pro 2013 for more than a year. Today after updating the system the touchpad stopped working completely, my usb mouse works fine.
Strangely, when I'm at the login screen at GDM, the touchpad works fine.
Any help would be appreciated

Hy there
maybe this could help:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=195911

second thought is did you had a look in the "dconf-editor" (use that comand in a terminal).

BTW i have to less informations about your system to help directly!
1. do you use any third party driver (touchegg or mtrack....)?
2. did you trie to create a new user and look what happened?

last thought if you can use the touchpad in the login screen everything is fine except after starting gnome!
so it means something in the configuration inside your WM has changed (thats why i direct you to this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=195911)
