Hello.
It seems like I have some strange issues so I'll explain from the start:
A few days ago I realized that aur installations took way longer than usual (hours compared to minutes).
I thought it was some server issues and continued living as normal.
However, now it's getting very bad. No matter what I try to git clone I end up under 40KiB/s.
wget and curl seems to be fine, for the most part - as long as they are used outside of packer / yaourt.
The moment curl is used through packer/yaourt it slows down as well.
The strange thing is - it seems like it's at normal speeds until 6%. At that point it just drops (from 10MB/s to ~40KiB/s).
I've disabled IPv6, no difference there.
I've also tested other PC-s in the house with the exact same configuration, no issue.
I've even changed my router and cat 6 cable.
http and https is just as slow when using git clone.
However, downloads through firefox max my network connection.
EDIT: After testing a bit more it seems like this issue is not present when git cloning repos outside github...
Any ideas of where to continue?
Solved! Seems like it was caused by some strange dns problems.
