Questions regarding the Nsd package

I'm trying to install DNSSEC+DNSCrypt+Unbound+Nsd and I get everything up to the point where the sample nsd.conf in the arch wiki and here include "zones" at the end of the file. I'm having trouble understanding what they are.

I know that I want to use a single nsd authoritative server and not the secondary conf file. I also get that I need to list the DNS servers that I intend to use in the dnscrypt-proxy file provided by DNSCrypt but how do I set up unbound with nsd?
Specifically, what are "zones" in nsd and what values do I assign instead of the defaults -

zone:
   name: myhomenet.com
   zonefile: myhomenet.com.zone
zone:
   name: 0.0.10.in-addr.arpa
   zonefile: 0.0.10.in-addr.arpa.zone

Also, what about the 10.0.0.1 inclusion in the unbound.conf as mentioned in the arch wiki? Do I need to do that? I connect to the internet using a 3G USB modem.
