Yesterday evening I installed Arch for the first time without any issues. This morning I went with a 'pacman -Syu' and among other packages it upgraded linux. Since then, the font in the console is huge. I've tried to google or read the wiki but had no luck finding a solution. Could someone please help me?
Thanks in advance.

I had already tried your solution, but it only changed a situation a little; it finally turned out to be an issue with the drivers installed when setting xorg-server for lxde installation, but, since I was not sure, and having a quick script for post-installation package management which I had written, I reinstalled everything for scratch.
As far as I can say, changing console font is useful for a properly configured VGA output, otherwise the situation get slightly better, but the font is still huge.
Thanks again.
Best regards.

Are you using nvidia graphics driver? If so, it's not the issue of huge fonts, but low screen resolution.

As karol said, if you're using Nvidia graphics driver, the issue is low screen resolution. Check out these links https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GR … resolution and https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … resolution

jgwaro, thank you for sharing that, but take care when posting in old topics. This one appears to have been abandoned by it's creator, though your information may be of benefit to others.
