Re: Rigs of Rods stable version packaged for Arch Linux

Hi, thanks for packaging RoR! It starts and loads the map without a problem, however when pressing Enter to enter the vehicle, it crashes with

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'OIS::Exception'
what(): Unknown error creating effect (may be the device is full)->..
Aborted

Google gave me only one result when searching for this output: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2223000 However the problem has not been solved. Any thoughts on how to debug this?

Solution found: http://www.rigsofrods.com/threads/10002 … -a-vehicle It was my controller...

The very worst thing you can do with free software is to download it, see that it doesn't work for some reason, leave it, and tell your friends that it doesn't work.  -  Tuomas Lukka

Re: Rigs of Rods stable version packaged for Arch Linux

With openal 1.16 the game doesn't segfault anymore, so there is no need to use the old openal1.14 package. Please update rigsofrods and openal:

pacman -Syu
pacman -S openal
