Hello,
I am trying to dual boot Windows 7 and Arch. Everything went great, I shrinked windows partition and made a new ext4 partition for Arch. I am installing it from bootable USB which I made using Rufus in Windows. Installation is working perfectly until I get to installing base packages with
pacstrap -i /mnt base
It gives me:
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db' from http://archlinux.iskon.hr : The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
error: failed retrieving file 'community.db' from http://archlinux.iskon.hr : The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
error: failed retrieving file 'extra.db' from http://archlinux.iskon.hr : The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
I am unable to post any exact logs or outputs since I don't actually have Arch installed.
I have working ethernet connection. I have tried a lot of different mirrors. I can even ping them, but every one of them gives the same error.
I also tried downloading core.db, community.db and extra.db and installing it manually (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Of … f_packages) but it doesn't seem to work either.
Thanks in advance!

I doubt you'll succeed in using a repository of a different distribution (ArchLinux ARM) for installing ArchLinux. Especially since the distribution is for ARM, not x86 or x86_64. Set the proper mirrors first (you can find a list in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist) by either:
… uncommenting selected mirrors in the mirrorlist file and uncommenting lines in /etc/pacman.conf that correspond to selected repos (core, extra and community sections are usually what you want):
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
… Adding mirrors to /etc/pacman.conf directly:
Server = some-mirror
(of course for each repo you want to use)
Sometimes I seem a bit harsh — don’t get offended too easily!

Oh... my bad. These errors are just symbolic, however I get similar ones. I am using proper mirrors. I am unable to post exact error because my Arch only exist on USB for now and I can't post trough terminal.
Will try to put servers directly into pacman.conf and report back. Thanks

I am confused. Are you saying you went out and found similar errors to the ones you are getting, and posted those instead of copying down the actual errors you're getting? That seems.. incredibly roundabout.
Oh well. Try a different mirror. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mi … fic_mirror
If you have the same problem with other mirrors, then perhaps you are behind a NAS and need to sign in with your service provider before you are able to contact the outside network?

There's only so much assistance we can give you without accurate information. This may be of assistance if your network connectivity is working properly.

I have turned on my computer, tried pacstrap command and it just worked. Just like that. I haven't changed nothing since previous try. I have no idea what was wrong????
Thanks for all the suggestions and really sorry for such poorly explained topic.
