Laptop can't detect wifi

Hello, I just finished installing the base on my laptop, it can currently detect ethernet but it can't detect any wifi right now.

The problem is that I can't find the same folders on arch. It would be great if someone could help me out here. Thanks in advance.

Re: Laptop can't detect wifi

Welcome to Arch Linux.

Sadly, you did not give us much to go on.  You might consider, for example, telling us what kind of wifi hardware you are using.
Also, what do you mean by "it can't detect wifi"?  Is the interface not showing up?  Are no access points being identified in your site scan?

What commands are you giving, and what are the specific error messages?

Sorry, I'm new to this...No access points were being identified in my site scan.  The laptop is a lenovo flex 15.

Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 is the network controller

and the command ping 8.8.8.8.  doesn't work for me. and no wlan detected when i typed "ip link" in the terminal

Re: Laptop can't detect wifi

Did you use sudo wifi-menu  ??

Let's start with the output of the following commands:
ip addr
iw list
rfkill list   (You may need to install it first)
and
find /etc/systemd
