[SOLVED] How to remove a printer not listed in cups
On firefox print dialog two printers shows up.
I would like to remove first one in the list. But it does not show up under Cups manage printers list.
Is there a way to remove this printer.

Is the extra printer in /etc/cups/printers.conf?

Thanks for the link. That is excatly what is happning.
But Is it safe to disable avahi-daemon? According to pacman gvfs and libcups require avahi. Woudn't these services get affected if I disable avahi?

Well, Avahi is a system for service auto-discovery. That's why you are seeing the other printer in the first place. If you don't want this type of auto-discovery, you can disable Avahi. I haven't found a way to just disable printer discovery and leave Avahi running.
