libvirtd qemu vnc: Keyboard failure

Today I got a strange problem with my virtual machines.

Noice: [2015-10-13 ??:??] [ALPM] upgraded qemu (2.4.0-4 -> 2.4.0.1-1)

Before rebooting libvirtd everything was fine.
After rebooting and logging in via vnc the keyboard works weird:
The only keys working are (en_US):
,./;'[]\`
When holding shift I can produce the following, when pressing the corresponding keys:
,./;'[]\`1234567890-=

The only change that I saw happening was the update of qemu.

Problem does not occur in
$ virsh send-key KEY_ENTER
nor when using spice.

Problem also occurs in newly created machines.

Anybody has the same problem, a solution or someone to blame ?
