Not sure if this is where to ask but I'm out of ideas on this one.
We just changed routers to a pfSense device; a PCEngines APU with 4GB of RAM. This is coming off a Cisco RV220W. Every machine maxes out the 100Mpbs up/down WAN connection now when needed.
Every machine except mine! Mine is now a lot slower. Yesterday I was uploading at a solid 9MB/s. Today with the new router, 900KB/s. No other PCs are using the network during my tests.
I am connected via ethernet. My card is a Gigabit Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411.
Can't find any issues in dmesg.
Ethtool says this:

I have tried a new cable, no joy.
I'd appreciate any suggestions!

What MTU are you using on your interface? How is the upload speed from your computer to a another computer on your LAN?
Do you use custom kernel values for the network stack?
What protocol are you using for your uploads, TCP, UDP, something else? Tried another protocol? Tried another remote destination? No packet loss from your computer to remote host?

Thank you for this - a list of questions to ask myself is just what I needed (I hope that doesn't sound sarcastic, it isn't).
I tried a transfer to another machine on the LAN and still struggled. Then, I noticed a switch (quite an important one) kept flipping between 100 and 1000 mbps. It's unmanaged so I power cycled it just on the off-chance and that seemed to do the trick.
