What does "does not work" mean?

That's getting closer, but please post the actual error messages.  I'm not sure how iwlist is relevant to the process - for wpa networks, you should use wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd (as needed).  iw* tools will not help.

Post the content of the wpa_supplicant.conf excerpts these created and, again, the error messages provided.

Re: Wpa2-psk-ccmp wireless connection

i can t do anything on the modem.
it uses openWRT (unknown version).

there are 3 connections: a 2.4 ccmp, a 5.0 ccmp ( i can t see this on my pc), a 2.4 tkip virtual ap ( i m using this, no errors)

the message is wpa authentication error.
as far as i know the password is correct

i m not using iwtools, i m using wifi-menu with netctl

there s another modem, vodafone, with ccmp, and there s no error with this.

my netctl config:

Interface=wlp3s0
Connection=wireless
Security=wpa
ESSID=xxxxx
IP=dhcp
Key=xxxxxx
