Some lines of sshguard blacklist.db malformatted

When issue

systemctl status sshguard

I have this error:

sshguard[xxxxx]: Blacklist entry (line #xx of '/var/db/sshguard/blacklist.db') appears to be malformatted. Ignoring.

This seemed to have started since sshguard changed the blacklist.db to human readable format. Should I just ignore it or is there anyway to correct/remove the malformatted lines

Re: Some lines of sshguard blacklist.db malformatted

Well, if it's human readable, you should just have a look at those lines.

Re: Some lines of sshguard blacklist.db malformatted

The lines that appear malfomatted (line #1 to line #38) are both readable and not readable.

I don't really get this. Either you can read the line, than you can either fix  or remove the line or you can't. Anyway, you can also just delete the blacklist.db and restart sshguard. It will then start with an empty db and will gather entries over the time.

Re: Some lines of sshguard blacklist.db malformatted

The blacklist.db lines 1-20 are unreadable and from lines 21-158 are readable. The status message says lines 1-38 appear malformatted. Anyway, I removed lines 1-38 and restarted sshguard. No error this time. I just feel I've let go a bunch of bad IPs collected so far.
