ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote hos

Hi,

now if set up my second Arch machine and i tried to use ssh. On both the "openssh" package is installed an "sshd" is running.

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

Is this any configuration issue?

Did you add your local network into the list of allowed hosts in <code>/etc/hosts.allow</code>? Mine looks something like this:

# /etc/hosts.allow
#

# Allow ssh access to the local network
sshd: 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0

# End of file

oh, yeah.
The /etc/hosts.allow file was the critical point ;-)
