[SOLVED] Lightworks Crashes on Start

I'm looking into video editors and Lightworks (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lwks/) looks AMAZING but when I try to run it, I get either a blank grey screen or nothing at all, and it just sits there doing nothing.
I tried installing nvidia-utils (even though I'm almost entirely sure I'm not using anything Nvidia) and still nothing
Anyone have a solution to the problem?
Other details:
Running 64-bit Arch with Gnome3 on an Acer Aspire E1-470P with Intel Graphics

That seems like a very strange thing to do, when you have Intel graphics.

Have you tried running the binary from the command line and seeing if there are any errors that may assist?

Have you tried running the binary from the command line and seeing if there are any errors that may assist?

I tried it just to see if it would do anything.
I ran it from the command line initially and I got nothing. Literally nothing.

I had exactly the same issue, but lwks-openssl works for me.
I think the issue with lwks is known by the package maintainer since it's discussed in AUR comments.
