missing in /dev/

Why i haven't /dev/ttyUSB0 and 1 ?

Personally, those devices are only created for me when I press the hotsync button on my palm pilot.

What do you need those devices for? What hardware is connected to your USB ports? What's the output of lsusb?

Even a few general words on what you're trying to do would be a start.

Those nodes should be /dev/tts/USB[0-9]

I connect a usb data cable for mobile phone.
[DeViL@InSaNe ~]$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 10ab:10c5 USI Co., Ltd Sony-Ericsson datacable

[root@InSaNe DeViL]# dmesg | grep usb
usb.c: registered new driver serial
usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for Generic
usbserial.c: USB Serial Driver core v1.4

This is dmesg and lsusb.
