Hi,
Virtual console is sometime unsuable : prints garbage for each key typed, and screen is covered with + symbols.
Gnome and ssh sessions are OK.
In jounrnal I see nothing special apart from:
mars 02 17:04:53 rainbow.studelec-sa.com gnome-session[1663]: Ne peut pas se connecter à brltty sur :0
...
mars 02 17:31:06 rainbow.studelec-sa.com login[3167]: FAILED LOGIN 1 FROM tty2 FOR [1~[A[A[A[A, Authentication failure
Rebooting usually solves the problem.
# setfont cp437; killall agetty does not help
Thanks.

couldn't find screenshot, it shows shared album without any pics.
If this issue is indeed due to upgrade, it may be related to
2016-03-02 15:08] [ALPM] upgraded brltty (5.3.1-1 -> 5.3.1-2)I couln't find anything related to vconsole other than that in your posted logs, is your vconsole garbage similar to braile language?

Reverted brltty to 5.3.1-1, but no change
On the other hand, commenting FONT and FONT_MAP in /etc/vconsole.conf solves the problem !
Something must be wrong in my vconsole.conf

but how did your default font anf font map changed by itself?
anyway as your issue is solved kindly mark this thread solved by editing title of your first post

It did not change by itself. I recently fine tuned according to the https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_guide and especially https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … sole_fonts, but the problem did not appear immediately...
Something is not working as expected, so the problem is not solved as such.
