one of two network interface down by default

Hi to all...

I have a virtualbox image with arch to test any change before do it on mi laptop, that image have setted two network interface, one for the lan and another one for the wifi.

The thing is that the network interface for the lan always are down by default, if i have mi wifi off and start up the virtualbox image, i have no network at least that i execute the following commands:

# ip link set enp0s8 up
# dhcpcd enp0s8

Anybody know how the make the interface get up by default?

I added the commands at /etc/rc.local but didn't work...

thanks a lot

What distro are you using? Arch moved from Sysvinit many years ago...

I'm guessing it's a vbox image off some stale blog from many years ago.  Don't use that.

EDIT: or maybe it's recent - and that's why putting something in an rc.local file did nothing.  But in any case, using someone else's vbox image is not a good idea.

I'm using my own vbox image with the last version of arch. I didn't know that rc.local are deprecated...

Thanks for that advice...
