Some issues with the keyboard

Since a few days ago, I guess after an update, I've had the strage issues. In Sublime Text 3 often times, but not always, when I'm typing text, the letters don't appear until I press a whitespace or shift+something or some special character. In firefox sometimes also when I'm typing and press the whitespace, the whitespace doesn't work and I have to press it one more time. And also in firefox  the text gets underscored as I'm typing it and only the current word, even in the search box.

What's that?

It might be an issue with your GTK theme. Which GTK theme are you using?

Adwaita.
I've installed some GTK related stuff, yes, but for programming, it was installed automatically I guess when I donwloaded some GTK examples, compiled them and ran. I guess some GTK libraries or something have been installed also. But I've not changed anything in the settings and it'd always worked well before that.

I suspected GTK because recent updates to gtk3 have caused a lot of breakage for people. See: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=210815
