Re: 2016 Screenshot Thread

It's been a while. I'm on Slackware now, have arch on my  laptop. Just finished configuring my little Asus netbook, now to get busy. Nothing fancy. I love how it's turned out tho smile

I'm probably far too proud of that panel than I should be.

Re: 2016 Screenshot Thread

I haven't posted in the Arch forums in a very long time.  But I thought I'd post this.  Running bspwm (latest git rls), the bar is created using Yabar and the applications on screen are weechat and neofetch.  All the configuration files and the wallpapers can be downloaded for my git repo at https://github.com/z1lt0id/2016-dots.

Re: 2016 Screenshot Thread

Can I ask if that "Friday" text is a part of an image with the Conky(?) skin? Or is it an installed font? Or something else entirely?

Installed mate on my old laptop and this really brings back memories to good old Gnome 2.

A really simple background I just made today that I really like. Credits of course to arch team for awesome logo! And yes, that is a (terrible) conky I have running but I like it.

EDIT: Using fluxbox and *nothing* else for performance. Thats what the bar on the bottom is.

Screenshot

Nothing extraordinary, just a very functional setup. i3-gaps-next-git, i3blocks-gaps-git, urxvt, tmux, irssi.

That looks remarkably like the Badbury Building here in Los Angeles (it is notable for many things, including being a set for Bladerunner)

i3-gaps. Gruvbox + Adwaita w/ nocsd. A bit lame but it looks good and it's not much hassle with gtk3-updates big_smile

Wow, what an amazing building smile

My scrot showed the first level of Quake II, perhaps the level designers drew inspiration from the Bradbury Building.

On topic: decided to start using xfsettings since I have xfce4-panel anyway so I now have a fully functional control panel for my bspwm desktop:
