Using BIND For Internal and External DNS

I ended up using this tutorial instead and I have it fully working for my internal DNS. I haven't attempted to setup the external DNS yet. The only problem I have is that when digging a host without the FQDN it won't expand it even though I have search mydomain.com set in /etc/resolv.conf

I looks like it is (slowly) caching DNS records, but it's still missing a lot and is slow to use....
