MariaDB not starting

I checked : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=137365 and performed the steps there, but still get:

Failed to load slave replication state from table mysql.gtid_slave_pos: 1146: Table 'mysql.gtid_slave_pos' doesn't exist

and

[ERROR] Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table 'mysql.servers' doesn't exist

I did do a pacman -Syu just today and a reboot.

Re: MariaDB not starting

When was the last time MariaDB started correctly?

What packages have you updated since then?
