I have read the Arch Wiki for networkmanager as well as ipv6 but did not find a solution to my problem.
I enabled ipv6 in my router today. According to http://test-ipv6.com/ everything is "OK" and I scored a 10/10.
I can ping ipv6 internet addresses, but I am unable to ping domain names. websites still load but I think it is falling back to ipv4.
In my Netgear Router, I tried the "Get Automatically from ISP" as well as google's 2001:4860:4860:0:0:0:0:8888 for the DNS addresses.
In Network Manager ipv6 DNS was set to Automatic. I tried setting it manually to google's 2001:4860:4860:0:0:0:0:8888 but when I returned to look at it again it had changed it to 32.1.72.96 for some reason? I don't understand why. Everything else under ipv6 is set to automatic.
I should also point out that /etc/resolv.con shows
nameserver 192.168.1.1
nameserver 2001:4860:4860::8888
nameserver 2001:4860:4860::8844
pacman wont update with ipv6 enabled and keeps complaining about Resolving time out which I take it to mean that DNS isn't working right.
am I doing something wrong? or is networkmanager just not working right?

update:
I tried using networkd instead of NetworkManager and I'm getting the same issue.
