Problem with minipci laptop 3g HSDPA modem and wvdial

Hi,

This is my second week of Arch, coming from Ubuntu and Mint, and so far it has been great. I have installed the OS without using any 3rd party installers, with a little help of my friend with laptop wifi configuration. I'm not a linux expert.

I bought a 3g minipci card HS2350 for my HP 2570p laptop. ModemManager sees it, received sms and the signal strength is updating.

I installed gnome-ppp, I input the correct connection data and this is the result after i try to connect:

[art@vandelay ~]$ sudo gnome-ppp

(gnome-ppp:17098): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkSpinButton: setting an adjustment with non-zero page size is deprecated

I tried googling this wvdial error, but didn't come to any conclusion. I'm not sure which logs to show you guys more.

thanks

Edit:
I have followed this wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/USB_3G_Modem

enabled the daemons with systemctl, but couldn't make it work with NetworkManager either.
