I upgraded to the new SSH this morning, but didn't make any of the chroot changes on my system (Didn't see the note about the wiki initially).
My questions is, it is working just as it should without being in a chroot. If you don't specify for it to use chroot, does it just work as before?
Thanks!!!

pacman -Syu should not have updated you to ssh-chroot, this is a bug in the ssh-chroot package in community. You're welcome to use this package, of course, but it's not the 'official' ssh package.

Ok, so I can use the chroot package like the regular one? There won't be any security issues if I don't use a chroot I presume?
Thanks for the reply...

I'm not sure what you are asking here, but I don't know anything about the chroot package.

Nope. If there was a security issue and the chroot package was replacing openssh, it would have gone into current. But it's in community and openssh is still in current. Just a user error that should be fixed in the near future..

I'd reinstall the official package myself.
