Route eth1 to eth0

pinta.jpg

Pretty much what I want to do is share my internet connection from eth0 to eth1 which is connected to a wireless AP.

I tried to set the eth0's IP as default gateway for eth1, didn't work. And whenever both is turned on, I have no access to internet. Is it a matter of setting eth0 as priority, is there a way to let the computer know that eth0 is the port to be used when accessing internet ? Or is it just a routing matter? Thanks.

Re: Route eth1 to eth0

It all depends on what you want to, I suppose you could just bridge the two ports. There other people here with a lot more network experience than me so you need to state exactly what you want so they might be able to help you.
