Review my wiki-entry on including Gems/Cargo/... packages

I noticed there are quite a lot of packages using Rust's Cargo incorrectly; so I've documented proper usage on the wiki. Anyone want to review and possibly extend this?

List of packages using this incorrectly @ Google

Mod note: not a packaging issue, moving to wiki discussion.

Re: Review my wiki-entry on including Gems/Cargo/... packages

The entry was out of scope for the makepkg article, which is about particular usage on makepkg itself. Please move the content to the appropriate packaging page:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ru … guidelines

Maybe the content can be moved to the specific language pages; but shouldn't the package guidelines include a reference to them as well?

Re: Review my wiki-entry on including Gems/Cargo/... packages

makepkg related articles has "Creating packages" .
Point "7 More detailed guidelines" on that page has links to many specific package types (there are even a few listed i didn't know we had, like the nonfree one)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Ah, the language specific guidelines are a nice find indeed; I'll look into creating Rust Cargo package guidelines
