you'll need to be a lot more specific about what you've tried results than just "the wiki and guids"

Just FYI as you move forward on the bbs, the Arch Community generally doesn't hand hold, so for future posts, you'll want to be verbose as mcmillan said as well as tried the wiki and google, etc.  Welcome to Arch.

Re: [SOLVED]new to arch, how to add langauge to the keyboard?

For anyone reading this who might have this issue in 2023

I did the following and it worked fine.

open a terminal and type down:

>sudo nano /etc/locale.gen

uncomment the locales u want to be add to the system and save the file

>sudo locale.gen
>reboot

after the reboot go to your system setting and add a keyboard layout from the GUI.

Re: [SOLVED]new to arch, how to add langauge to the keyboard?

All of this is documented in the resources mentioned above and there's no need to bump a 6 year old solved thread to mention that indeed, the wiki has a solution for this.

Please don't necrobump

Closing.

Edit: Too slow smile
