Hello everybody!
I started using arch linux just a week ago and its evolving and I'm pretty happy with all possibilites. There's just this one problem cant help anymore and need experienced guidance ..
As menitioned, my system is freezing 1-4 times every day. Have some feeling in my guts, that its somehow related to graphics, as its usually happening when youtube is running. (Tried with firefox and chromium, happens on both). I tried to avoid youtube and listen to spotify from today on, but already froze twice too. (But theres also small advertise videos running in spotify ..)
By freezing I mean that the screen is still shown, but is not reacting to mouse or keyboard, music stops, I cant switch to tty-X, also NUMLOCK isnt working anymore. Letting some time pass by is not helping either, so I have to switch off and on again.
Till 2 weeks ago I was running debian stable and this problem never occured, then I was switching to debian stretch as I needed more up-to-date packages and there I first encountered the problem with this freezes. I got suggested to finally try arch but still the problem with the freezes.
Also my windows system is not having any freezes, so Im pretty there is nothing wrong with the hardware.
So I was checking this journalctl, but it usually had no messages remotely close to the freeze.
As I thought its something wrong with the graphics, I exchanged the graphics-driver from xf86-video-intel (my board is an Q1900dc-itx with some onboard Intel HD Graphics) to xf86-video-vesa, which didnt help.
Im sorry that Im not familiar with what information Ive to deliever to get some help, but Im gonna reply everything thats needed in time

Thanks, I added this Options in the morning and wait if its gonna make a difference. Stumbled over some other posts, that there's some issue with the q1900 and the kernel.

i have same motherboard/CPU and same problem.
MAYBE i have solved disabling this in BIOS "Advanced\CPU Configuration" menu:
- Intel SpeedStep Technology
- CPU C States Support
- Enhanced Halt State(C1E)
and installing intel-ucode:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/microcode
sorry for my bad english
