I heard about this on a podcast and would like to try it out. Currently, their linux client is in alpha, i don't know if it's even possible. But has anyone gotten this to work, or can someone, pleeease.
Thanks.

Since this "game" isn't under GNU and is a Licenses Product(not free). I doubt it'd be legal to package it other than the way they did. Maybe with permission from the company, otherwise I don't think it would be smart for anyone to repackage this / redistribute it.

You probably couldn't legally host a pre-built package, but it would be alright to post a PKGBUILD that built the package from the package hosted on the SecondLife website.

You can just extract the original installer into the src folder then copy files from there! Just make sure you make a little message about the license
PS: Sweet this looks nice.. im registering as soon as my dad verifies and im trying to get the linux client for arch
UPDATE: actually i dont trust them so im not gonna register

You may not be able to host a problem, but there wouldn't be an issue making and distributing a PKGBUILD.
I've played around with second life under windows and it is pretty interesting. I had serious issues with it being laggy, so I quit, but it could be fun. I hear a lot of people talking about it in their podcasts.
