Private internet access (PIA vpn) very slow

I followed the wiki links and Ive got it working.

In particular, I installed openvpn and private-internet-access client. Then in terminal "pia -a". Then in login.conf my username and password. And finally "opencv --config" to my config file. I have tried different proxy servers and all of them are very slow. From USA, to UK, Netherlands and Romania.

I mostly wanted the vpn to stream video, but when doing a torrent test, the speed use to go from 100k to 250k back and forth. When removing the VPN it used to go to 1m, which is my usual speed.

I wonder if I am missing something in the configuration and did something wrong, or ir if this is normal.

When checking their website it is giving me higher speeds in the test (around 7-9m). But it seems my connection is way slower.

Seems like a service issue to me. Contact their support and let's see what they have to say.
