Im trying to connect to the university Wifi, usually it worked fine following this steps:
1. Connect to the SSID via NetworkManager
2. Open any page in Firefox and I will be redirected to a login screen
3. Enter credentials and browse normally
But this method stopped working this week as I don't get redirected to any login screen.
I have tried:
* Disabling all firefox extensions
* Entering in incognito mode
* Entering the address of the default gateway
None of this worked, so I tried to investigate with wireshark and I see it is stuck in the dhcp step:

Do you have something called EDUROAM at your university? Maybe give that a try!
At my university, I can log into the guest network and then connect via VPN. Might be an option!
Cheers,

Have you tried manually assigning a static IP before connecting?
I usually do it via nm-connection-editor:
