Hey all,

this is my first post in the forum , so I thought I start with showing what I use atm on my thinkpad t460. I am a dev from Germany, and a couple of weeks ago i switched to arch. That was planned for a long time, but I need a 100% stable system so I had to first understand everything around maintaining arch. Because I'm no newbie I scripted alot to round things up and now I am 100% satisfied so I guess I will stick now with you for a while. I switch my theming very often so see it as a starting point Btw I am a 100% xfce user

Finally decided to go Arch, and XFCE is my preferred desktop. Thought I would share a little screenshot. I have multiple workspaces set up, each for it's purpose. I prefer Terminator as my main terminal emulator, but also use the xfce4-terminal --drop-down for quick and dirty access. Theme is Numix-ArchBlue with Numix icons. Conky config is Gotham. Variety takes care of the wallpapers. Other than that its just some transperacy action on panels and terminals.

What do I hate most?. Well. Being at university working with IDEs like bluej and distros such as Ubuntu when I'm used to edit config files and code with my pretty awesome Vim at my hard-builded Arch system. Yep, that sucks.
