Tomcat8 - virtual host manager GUI

Hi,

on a fresh Tomcat8 installation I cant create a virtual host via the /host-manager GUI. When I try to add a host I get:

FAIL - Failed to create appBase [/usr/share/tomcat8/mybase] for host [mydomain.com]

Any idea why this would be happening?
