Last night i update the nvidia-utils drivers to 378-13.6 along with something else i don't remember and today wine refuse to execute any game and say's that he can't find freetype and tells me to install it which already is installed on my system.
Anybody has this problem or it's just me? Anyone knows where he is looking for the freetype?
Thanks

That's a bit dated, did you install wine from AUR (and forgot to update for some time)?

I'm using playonlinux to manage wine versions. I did experiment with the more recent ones but no luck. The games were working fine before the update.

The freetype warning might be a red herring reg. running the game - do you get a backtrace from the wine debugger (it's suggested to be started)
Edit: also see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=224534 reg. the play-on-linux wine versions.

There was no backtrace...That error message is from the debugger, generaly i always run the debugger when executing a game but this is the same problem as in that link. I got things working again with the system wine so it seems playonlinux "wine management" is broken..no point in using playonlinux for now then. Thanks for the help

The error description is correct but can't really much say same about the "solution".
Please see the proper solution here to get Wine running again on PlayOnLinux.
