Re: New ISO Creation with Patched Kernel

If you don't need support for coasters then you can simpy do a normal install to a usb stick instead of using archiso. Much simpler that way.

Re: New ISO Creation with Patched Kernel

I believe that question was meant more as: Do an effort and search the wiki yourself.
My first search gave me: Remastering the Install ISO

Re: New ISO Creation with Patched Kernel

Hi istyak,

You may also want take a look at archiso. It's a very versatile tool for creating and modifying arch iso's. You could easily install your patched kernel with it.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/archiso

I've used both archiso and remastering, and much prefer archiso as seems more straight forward. Creating a new iso with unlimited modifications just seems to make more sense than going through all the steps to modify an existing iso. It is however subjective as either method would work.
