[fixed] Starting sway from GDM doesn't work with custom start script

Hello.

i want to start sway from gdm.

Reading https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sway#Keymap , I created a two files:

/usr/bin/sway-de

#!/usr/bin/sh
export XKB_DEFAULT_LAYOUT=de; sway

/usr/share/wayland-sessions/sway-de.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Sway (German Keyboard Layout)
Comment=SirCmpwn's Wayland window manager
Exec=sway-de
Type=Application

But then, after

  • rebooting,

  • clicking on the "Sway (German Keyboard Layout)" menu of GDM

  • login with the correct credentials

the login isn't succesfull:

  • the login textfield (where you type in your credentials) disappears while the rest of GDM is still visible

  • After few seconds, the textfield is visible again, like when you first had started your computer.

However, the login is successful, if i use the default sway entry in GDM. (I mean the one below)

/usr/share/wayland-sessions/sway.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Sway
Comment=SirCmpwn's Wayland window manager
Exec=sway
Type=Application

sh also exists on my system:

$ file $(which sh)
/usr/bin/sh: symbolic link to bash

Searching in the Arch forum hasn't helped.

Is /usr/bin/sway-de marked executable?
