SOLVEDhostapd and 802.11r support: CONFIG_IEEE80211R=y option...

Hello,

I'm trying to get fast transition roaming working between a LEDE flashed wrt4900,
a regular arch linux box, and arch CuBox-i4Pro.

The hostapd on LEDE/Openwrt (well, wpad version, powerpc_8540, version 2016-12-19-ad02e79d-3)
has been compiled with CONFIG_IEEE80211R=y;  and the config options (mobility_domain, r0kh, r1kh, etc) load.

The two arch architectures (armv7h and x86_64, hostapd version 2.6-4) do not have this
option enabled, hence the daemon barfs on the IEEE 802.11r config options, grief ensues, etc, etc.
The relevant FT code seems to have been more or less stable in hostapd since v0.7.2 from 2010-04-18.
The default hostapd.conf file does have a long section on configuring 802.11r, but the binary will not accept any of it.
I found nothing in the package commit logs mentioning choices surrounding this option at all.

Is this just an oversight in the package compilation config or is it an arch design choice?
Is it possible to have it enabled by default in future builds?

with thanks,
.paul.

edit: and now i see that it has been added,
thank you Sergej.
.p.
