sorry for the bad info.  pacman -Sc worked for me.  I was under the mistaken impression that pacman -Scc would remove *all* the cached packages. and I would have to download all 200 megs again.

It would. -Scc purges the cache completely.

Re: The Testing Move has begun

The apache package changed considerably, please take a look through the configuration, you'll notice that it's been split up into multiple files and that many paths have changed. If you are using  SSL, the rc.d script is currently broke, either modify it yourself or wait for a new release in the near future.

The suggestion box only accepts patches.

Are you just trolling or otherwise being stupid? Really, I can't stand such stupid comments like "Fix this", "Fix that". You could a) read the news and b) tell us what's wrong. Instead you are just ranting against something you don't understand. *shakes his head*

Rebuilt what? Questions about what? Nobody can help you if you don't tell us what is wrong.

If a package is complaining about OpenSSL, dont whine and beg us to fix it, file a bug.

rasat: Reinstall apr and apr-utils. You might also need to change the config. There's a thread in the forum.

I didn't do any research  but I think the libaprutil-1.so.0 error comes from the old pacman bug when files are moved from a package to another.

I didn't have these packages. When installed, works fine. The error is a dependency problem.

Posted in bug tracker.

please post the exact error.

If you're trying to compile a kernel using the source contained in the kernel26 or kernel26beyond packages, dont. These do not contain the full kernel source, you need to either use ABS and edit the PKGBUILD and config, or download it from kernel.org.

Guys. If a program doesnt work, and has errors about openssl, libcrypto or libssl, please file a bug at bugs.archlinux.org, or contact a developer directly so we can fix it. openssl is not broken, but that package is.
