Cellular hotspots randomly disconnect

I am using a Dell XPS 13 9360, and something is weird.

The wifi seems to work perfectly fine with "normal networks" (the one I used to have at home, or the ones at the university), but when I connect to cellular hotspots, every 15 minutes or so, the network seem to die out. It doesn't disconnect immediately, and I have to manually reconnect in order to make it work again.

This is mighty annoying, as it makes using my phone as a hotspot very inconvenient.

Any suggestions as to what might be the problem, or how do I fix it?

Re: Cellular hotspots randomly disconnect

Try with a cheap USB wifi dongle, e.g. Panda, to compare against your laptop's onboard wifi.
