Mldonkey not connecting to servers anymore

Hi,

I am (still) using mldonkey client and lately I found out that searching does not work anymore and upon some investigation I found that it does not connect to any servers.
Anybody still using it? Does it work for you?
Or can you recommend alternatives?

aMule works, but the binaries from community tend to crash a lot. Use amule-git from AUR; you can compile just the parts you want. Drop the patch "configure_ignore_gdlib-config_garbage.diff" and it will compile and run great.

mldonkey somehow revived, so I am not going to change anything for now. But aMule client looks nice as well.
