So,I've succesfully installed ArchLinux with no problems, until the graphic/desktop environment step.
I've updated the system using the command 'pacman -Syu'
Thing is, when trying to download xorg (I'm trying to download xorg-server xorg-init xorg-utils xorg-server-utils packages) I can only get the xorg-server one, it displays the error "target not found" for the rest.
I'm using a virtual machine in VirtualBox but the internet connection works fine.
I've followed the steps in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdNCwy6VCkM/ and this guide https://blog.desdelinux.net/guia-de-ins … inux-2014/, even checked a guide of this year, because those ones are old,https://kerneleros.com/instalar-arch-li … tualizada/ but they all follow the same steps at the end(note that the guides are in spanish,I'm a native spanish speaker).
So,what can I do about it? I want to install KDE.

Welcome to the arch linux forums ggv94. Please do not use random unsupported tutorials. See Xorg#Installation VirtualBox#Installation_steps_for_Arch_Linux_guests

First, none of those guides are supported here. If you want help, use the official documentation.
Second, post full commands and exact errors: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
Third, your mirror(s) are not up-to-date, change them.

And "Third" is because you probably downloaded an ancient installation image (at least that's linked in those dated random tutorials)
Start over with the latest install image and the installation guide in the wiki (linked on the top of this page) - updating a two year old system is possible, but quite a task (virtually impossible for beginners)

Hm I think I've found the problem. Appearently they removed some of those packages.
I updated the system before doing It and no,I didn't download the ISO from a tutorial but oficial website. I'm not that new hehe.
Anyway, thanks for the help. I'm gonna close the thread
