[SOLVED]lan cable connection between windows and arch linux

Hello,
I want to transfer files from a windows pc to arch linux via cable direct lan connection. I've manage to connect both pcs with the cable, give static ip adress to each and seems that the connection is successful. I can ping from the one pc to the other. I also have configure the folder I want to transfer in windows as shared. The problem is that I don' t know how to access to that folder from dolphin or thunar. Is that possible and how?
EDIT:
After a reboot both dolphin and thunar could connect via smb. I needed to manuall write the address though.
