Hi, how can I start a new terminal when a terminal command keeps running in the instal process ?
This will probably surprise most of you because it's simple but I'm stuck in the instal process when I start the wpa_supplicant command in order to connect to my wifi. It then keeps running and I then cannot enter any new command ...
I've read this post, which is now closed: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=226584
There is a link to the wiki, which says "[...] If connected successfully, continue in a new terminal (or quit `wpa_supplicant` with `Ctrl+c` and add the `-B` switch to the above command to run it in the background). WPA supplicant contains more information on options and on how to create a permanent configuration file for the wireless access point."
Ok, but I just don't know how to open a new terminal, hum :-) (and if I quit wpa_supplicant with cntrl+c the connexion is lost so...) neither to "tell to wpa_supplicant" to run in background"
Thanks!

Ctrl-Alt-F2, or F3 through F6
To get back to the original console, Ctrl-Alt-F1
Edit: Oh, and welcome to the Arch Linux forums
