I generally don't use very light colors, I prefer more relaxing dark tones, but I fell in love with the wallpaper so... smile

Terminal font hurts my eyes... You should turn off antialiasing.

You should really take the shadow off on that conky.  It makes it a lot more readable on light backgrounds if you just use a dark foreground.

You should get a gtk theme, the default is just so god damn fugly.
For instance, do pacman -S clearlooks and add this to ~/.gtkrc-2.0:
include "/usr/share/themes/Clearlooks/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"

Is there a way to use the Candido-Candy theme in Xfce and get square corners? I changed the option in its gtkrc but it didn't seem to do anything.

if you change the option in the gtkrc the corners of the theme will be squared like http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/9274 … red4mv.jpg

To get window squared corners you'll have to wait the next xfwm4 Candido-Engine-Xfwm4 release, that will contain the squared style window borders.

What is candido by the way ? (sorry for this lame question but i really wondered that..)

I've used composite extensions in Xorg with GNOME but it was somehow unstable (make some strange lines on the screen when moving the window) and slow..

missing a quote on that include line.

you can use gtk-chtheme to do this easily, pacman -S gtk-chtheme from community.

I know, but then I'll have to change the lighter foreground colors to make them contrast better the background. It's a choice between absolutely matching colors along the whole desktop vs better readability.

I won't register with deviantart just to see your wallpaper. Maybe you could upload it to imageshack or something.
