[SOLVED] Wiki email confirmation times out or returns database error
Hello,
I recently decided to contribute to the Arch Wiki if I could and I created an account with my e-mail address. I never received a confirmation e-mail (I checked my spam folder and every other location it could have been mistakenly put in) and when I went to the preferences page to ask for a new one, the page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sp … nfirmEmail) kept either timing out without sending the e-mail or showing this error:
A database query error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software.[873d22278b083d6e3e6ef98b] 2018-03-05 20:32:09: Fatal exception of type "Wikimedia\Rdbms\DBQueryError"
Could this be a problem on my end? I'm using chromium on my home wifi network and I haven't noticed any other odd behavior. I figured the server might have been temporarily unavailable but two days later I still get the same issue.

It's probably a result of moving the wiki to a different server couple of days ago: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/a … 00122.html
I've sent Giancarlo an email, so let's wait for the fix.
