Here is my new desktop using openbox, a modified version of Smoon's rezlooks-gilouche-gray from this thread and Indiglo (find in this thread too).

The whole theme can be download here.

The program isn't debugged until the last user is dead.

Thunar uses Gnome icons... Tango, garGANTuan, Nuovext, etc. all work.

fbgrab can do it.

Out of curiosity, have you had it crash on you?  Last i tried the vertical split, it crashed about 5 times in under a minute....

Re: July 2006 Screenshots

This is conky either.

I'd like to know if it's possible, to force applications not to hide it. Everytime I start an application, it covers my status bar on top (conky) and I have to move the application around. Is there a way to avoid this? Maybe even that applications dock to this bar. That would be really nice.

Set these settings:

own_window yes
own_window_type normal
own_window_hints undecorated,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager,below

Since it will be launched as a window, openbox will respect it like any other window with smart placement and not place windows above it as long as there is screenspace somewhere else on the screen. If you change "below" to "above", conky will always be visible - if necesarry drawing on top of other applications.
