Hello all,
I'm running VMWare, and I have all the proper tools installed. I've installed pulseaudio, and pauvcontrol, yet, nothing seems to be working. The system detects sound, but doesn't play it back into my headset.
Prior to this, i disabled PCSPKR to remove the annoying "beep" sounds from tab-completion in the terminal, but that shouldn't mean anything. I'm also pretty unsure i unmuted sound as described via installation. If anyone has any idea what's going on, help would be appreciated.
Edit: Running "aplay -l" returns "aplay: device_list:272: no soundcards found..." Running "aplay -L" returns the following:
null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)
